Industry Advisory Committee

The Industry Advisory Committee is responsible to and makes recommendations to the Oregon, Idaho, and Washington Agricultural Experiment Station Directors through the Administrative Advisory Committee.

Responsibilities:

Assess research and education needs from the agriculture clientele, including seed industry and grower organizations.
Communicate these needs to the Technical Advisory Committee.
Participate in establishing priorities for funding and research review meetings.
Provide advice and counsel on future directions, funding, and reporting of grass seed research activities.
Facilitate research projects, especially those involving field studies.
Chair will serve on the Administrative Advisory Committee and the Technical Advisory Committee.
Meet with the Technical Committee as needed to facilitate communication of research results.
